I think that the loose structure works in its favor. It has a very natural tone to it. After all, the point of the film is to give the sense that you are just hanging out with and gaining insight into the lives of these guys. If they weren't interesting, then it wouldn't work. It has them together talking about guitar and playing. No, there isn't a lot to it...but there doesn't need to be. I'm a fan of all three. The concept is cool, though. Great guitarists from 3 generations of rock come together to make sweet, sweet tunes. If nothing else, I bet the soundtrack is pretty cool.
