Mr. Chow was unbelievably funny. I hope he’s just as outrageous in Part II. It’s interesting that Mr. Chow is Chinese, but Ken Jeong is actually Korean. I wonder if that is an intentional insult towards the Chinese? He has to pay the role of Kim Jong Il in the movie. All I know is Ken Jeong is one funny little bastard!

I don’t know, there were funny stuff in this movie, I just don’t like Ken Jeong’s gay role (he’s always playing efeminum characters), it’s seems kind of offensive, considering there are limited roles for asians in Hollywood.

For the few of you who care about my opinion, let me say that I found “The Hangover” very enjoyable. I especially enjoyed Heather Graham’s heart-of-gold stripper character stereotype.

From several of the comments here, I am wondering why some females think Zach Galifianakisâ€™ character is gay. I could relate totally to his character: the awkward guy that doesn’t fit in. I’ve even been known to let dogs slobber over my face, too. And no, I don’t have a restraining order that prevents me from getting too close to schools.

Oh, one stereotype that the movie does break is the one of uncool school teachers. I loved how Bradley Cooper’s character treated his students and expressed his disdain at his nerdy students.

Oh, someone asked what I thought of Mr. Chow’s character. Yeah, I was embarrassed by the portrayal, but I’m glad he was Korean and not Chinese. Note that it was enlightening that none of the characters ever made derogatory comments concerning Mr. Chow’s race.

this movie was the biggest piece of crap i’ve seen in a long time. Along with being un-funny and generally stupid, it was offensive in many ways. For starters, let’s leave babies out of sexual comedies ok?? Hello? Yeah, real funny, let’s make like the baby’s jacking off (by the guy who can’t get 100 yards near schools no less), let’s also smash his face with a car door, let’s also put him in a car without a car seat and get in a car crash. Great messages for the uninformed of america. Also, the date rape drug is hilarious. Why are they called roofies? how about “rapies”? Did that actor really say that? Date rape is just soooo side splitting funny. Also, so unrealistic, what woman says “suck my dick?” like a female character said at the end of the movie…r u kidding? does that make any sense to anyone? total piece of crap, awful…

This has to be the most ridiculously stupid movie passing as comedy by a major studio in years. I found myself yawning within the first 10 minutes and it just got worse as the movie continued. 40 Year-Old Virgin is an example of an excellent “adult” comedy of recent memory. Of course, this movie is from the same guy who brought us “Old School,” the pitiful attempt to recapture the essence of “Animal House,” so what can you expect. “Hangover” isn’t even worth renting at Blockbuster. If you find this funny, then you are one poor sap.

It’s not a matter of being “politically correct”. It’s a matter of there being soooooo many movies like this, with the same tired jokes, the same tired characters, and just the same boring bullshit. I’m a feminist and I love crude humour – I adored “Bad Santa” and “Superbad” because, despite their “un pc” elements, they are well written, well acted and most importantly for a comedy, they are funny. This is where “The Hangover” really missed the mark for me. They weren’t even trying. The Caeser’s Palace comment and the beeper comments for example. I was like WTF? Am I seriously meant to think this is funny? It didn’t even get to the point of being so lame it was funny, which might have been what the script writers were hoping for. It also seemed like because there are a couple of half-baked hipster fuckwits in it, we’re meant to assume it’s all a little bit ironic and really smart. It was just incredibly boring and underwhelming.

It seems most of the people posting on here who didnt like the movie have few good reasons for their points of view or for the most part they miss the point completely. This indicates to me they think they are smarter than they are (of course that is always the case).

Example people keep bringing up the paging doctor faggot line…… well for the dosile PC cattle out there….the line was there intentionally THE SETUP FOR THE JOKE WAS “I THINK YOU WOULD FIND THEM MORE MATURE IF YOU JUST SPENT A LITTLE TIME WITH THEM..”
“PAGING DR FAGGOT!”
Its a joke…durrrrhhhhhhh….cretinous fu*ks…..do you still not get it? The joke is at the expense of the characters.

Just watched last night. I can’t make out how this piece of trash has got such raving reviews. It’s appalling! If that’s what people call humour nowadays…it’s very very upsetting.

My girlfriend also thought that Zach Galifianakis’ character was gay. No problem with that, just thought I’d mention it as an addition to some previous comments. And by the way she also thought the film was exceptionally bad.
