This Week on DVD: Revolutionary Road, Defiance, Spring Breakdown

Yawn… another ho-hum DVD release week. Sam Mendes’s Revolutionary Road hits stores today, so you can finally decide for yourself if he got snubbed at the Oscars (I don’t think he did), and you can also catch up with Valentine’s Day hit He’s Just Not That Into You and Defiance starring Daniel Craig. Amy Poehler/Parker Posey/Rachel Dratch comedy Spring Breakdown is also out this week, along with a 25th Anniversary Edition of Eddie Murphy: Delirious and the latest seasons of Prison Break, Weeds and Reaper. Plus… Road House on Blu-ray! That pretty much sums it up… are you picking anything up?

  1. Are they ever gonna release “Final Fantasy 7: Advent Children Complete” on standard dvd?

  2. You know, I think I’m going to give Revolutionary Road another whirl on DVD.

  3. Defiance was excellent. I love daniel craig and the (TRUE) story-line is so compelling. More films about jewish resistance to the nazis should be put out there!

  4. I am also feeling the urge to revisit Revolutionary Road at some point, but I’ve got enough stuff waiting in the queue that it probably won’t happen for a while.

  5. ditto. Oh, so ditto on that Sean.

  6. Rev Road boils down to this:

Men feel alive when they have a big rifle, and women feel alive when they have a cock in them.

    Not exactly mature stuff.

  7. I might get FFVII so I can have no idea whats going on all over again in glorious HD.
