All I can say is no way! No Joss, no Sarah, no David or James, no Buffy The Vampire Slayer, period. I hate lt when people try to continue something but replace all of the characters. They’re doing this with Avatar: The Last Airbender & I can’t stand lt. Buffy must either continue with the original cast or live on in history.

there comes a time when an actor and his/her character start to become the same person, not only for them but for the people that have the pleasures of watching them. It is kind of ridiculous to make a “Buffy” movie with out the person that IS Buffy. No offense Mr. to Kuzui but did you see what he did the first time with the Buffy movie. In my opinion they should totally roll over the characters into the movie, they left the last episode of the t.v. show SO open and it’d be great to see someone elaborate on what they think happened once there wasn’t just ONE slayer anymore. On top of all of that audience are only going to have in their mind the fact that there is not just ONE slayer anymore but Willow, Buffy, and the rest of the gang got rid of that when they had their final battle with the first. To each his own I guess if someone wants to waste the money on producing and creating some like this than there isn’t really any stopping them.

I’m disappointed that they would do this without Joss Whedon. He created this amazing world and these amazing characters. It will not be the same without him. We all saw what happened to the first movie when he was no longer involved. Yes, I own it and love it in its own right, it is NOTHING compared to the show. This will take away from the seven years of television history. People that have never seen the show will see the movie and base assumptions on that, which if it sucks, will be disappointing. And when they compared to making it a franchise like Twilight, I almost died. Comparing the two is terrible. If they’re going to redo Buffy, do it the correct way.

I personely love the Buffy series. I grew up with it because my aunt would watch it, she was 19 at the time. My grandparents gave me a couple videos of it. Later I found it on TV on Logo, and started to record it.
I have never seen any other episode besides the first series:) I think that if they do this they should bring back Faith, Willow, Kennedy, Xander, Giles and Principle Wood and maybe Angel.
They should also kind of make it about Buffy but I thought “Why doesn’t she have a daughter who turns 13 or 14, that becomes the knew slayer after the first few episodes. Have Buffy die in a battle against another Uber-vampire.”
Make it about her daughter, and the friends and family she left behind, but do NOT bring her back to life. If they did this it would reach the teens or now parents audience, along with the teens now. I’m gonna love it, but i loved the old series too, especially since i was born the year they made the first real episodes:)
Just please please don’t mess it up! or else you will make a lot of people mad, who believed in you!!!!!!

I love buffy, I’ve been a fan for years now. I still watch the show on DVD. If your going to remake Buffy without SMG and Whedon. Then you better have something amazing, it better blow our minds. You can’t help if SMG dont want a part in it, but you can make sure that they story line and people that will star in it will be amazing. They all have some big shoes to fill. And for people that haven’t seen buffy, you cant just start it out how you want. you got to start from the beginning. I hope you dont mess it up!

It would be cool if they crreated two new movies, the first one a remake of buffy finding out she’s the slayer, and the 2nd movie shuld be more based of the tv series with angel and some of the other stuff.. they better pick a good buffy lol

I’m excited, I really hope they pick a good buffy, I wish sarah would do it, kristy was ok in the movie. The storeyline in the series was def. Better then the movie…. I hope they use some stuff from the tv series in the new movie.

See previous to be clear i was refering to the Batman & Robin, George Clooney, really BatMan smiling in the promos and that twitch he had in the movie Clooney couldnt help but smile he knew he was getting paid no matter what anf that “VAMPIRES DO NOT SPARKLE”.

Saw the movie when it camo out, i like it. But to say it was better than the tv show. Look at what it made in the box office. Now look at what a differnt take did on TV. No offense to Almost everyone that even knows of Buffy knows of SMG and lot don’t even know of the movie version let alone the actress KS that played Buffy in it. The end result has aleady been proven.Now if you just want to throw out another vampire move for those that know “VAMPIRES DO NOT SPARKLE” no matter what version,yes i did like Twilght except that,let the new “Buffy Movie” not be like the old movie. One more example remember how long the “silly tv version of “Batman Forever” did. Proof that even big name cant keep crap afloat “Forever”.

No!! Do not make a Buffy movie if Sarah Michelle Gellar is not going to be in it. It is ridiculous. Everything is a remake and nobody comes up with their own material and ends up ruining original things that were great to begin with. If this new movie is made, then Buffy the Vampire Slayer the tv show will lose it’s class. Because people who haven’t seen the show will go see the new movie. And if it’s horrible, they will never give the show a chance and people will think Buffy is a big joke. And it’s not. Leave original characters, movies, and shows alone. If you make a movie about a slayer, don’t even name her Buffy. Have it be completely different.

Fran Rubel Kuzui ruined the original movie. If they would have listened to Whedon, it would have been as good as the series instead of the joke it was. If they are going to do it they need the original cast and Whedon. If they can’t get either THEN DON’T MAKE THIS MOVIE!!!
