i wish they could just continue with tv series
or make a movie with the same cast
i miss it and twilight has taken over it
i think it’s best they way it is with the whole thing being over even though i miss it soooo much!
because i doubt it’ll catch on like it did before, everyone is far too into twilight now

I am a Buffy lover since I can remember. I have seen the movie and the T.V. Show, I can appreciate the campiness and 90’s etiquette of the movie but it never got me excited. I was always more the TV fan. To those who say the show was shallow really cannot have watched every episode. Ergo Hush, The Gift and especially The Body showed that Buffy was anything but camp by the time the TV show was airing. Whedon’s ability to create pop culture references, give humanity to utlimately heartless creatures and keep the show going really tells us what he can bring when he is given due control to what he wants to do.

Therefore I have NO interest in this movie. My problem is I could somehow understand if it was a continuation of the show or even a remake of the original but without any of the original cast, more notably Sarah Michelle Gellar how can you call it Buffy? SMG is Buffy without her that title becomes defunct in itself.

Another fear is given the amount of shows being ‘Twi-lighted’ at the moment (even the remake of The Howling seems to be taking that direction) how much can we bet this is what will happen to the film? Personally Kuzui did a nice fluffy piece of film but nothing more, since then they disappeared into obscurity. Suggestion tells me they plan to bring it back because they desire that limelight again, I do not think for one minute she cares about the concept just about the money which saddens me.

The fact there is no word of Whedon being in this rings major alarm bells. He was Buffy, the original movie he wanted was stolen from beneath him and the show gave him the chance to do what he wanted. Without him you are flogging a deadhorse. No word on any of the original staff? So I must assume we will get the most talked of actress lately? Every sign points to big bucks and little heart.

Until I hear that Whedon supports this or that the cast of the original show might be coming in, I have no interest. The person doing this does not care for Buffy and chances are it will show on the day. Bring back a franchise, loved by millions and see what happens. There will be little love for this movie and that is the case with me too.

Sorry I want something original, not something redone because the person wants back into the limelight. Not interested, couldn’t care less. Kuzui give me a reason to, or you are sailing dangerous waters. The worst idea literally I have heard in some time! Rant finished.

If they wanna make a Buffy movie then they should bring the tv show characters back ! Otherwise it’s gonna SUCK, BIG TIME !

The only way they will get most buffy lovers to stand for this buffy rerun or what ever is to have the origanal cast, like sarah machelle geller. and to have Whedon 100% behinde it….. i am suck a big lover of buffy and i would hate to see it go down hill if this goes rong, people are so into the seariose that it will enevitbly crush this upcoming move, like i said before,, its just not going to happen wit out Whedon or sarah machelle geller, and proberly about 99% of buffy the vampire slayer fans will agree with me, if they should bring anything out they should bring out the season 8 on DVD, other than that, they will spoil the origanal ending…..

The thought of having a Buffy the Vampire Slayer movie is extremely unsettling. The movie is watchable because it reminds me of my childhood, but the show in all honesty was in a completely different league. The actors had amazing chemistry and a poetic and beautifully written script for every episode. To think that Whedon, SMG, Alyson Hannigan, Nicholas Brendon, and others involved won’t be taking part is madness. They made the show what it was and they were all the reasons why it lasted so long. Bringing in new people is probably the worst idea i’ve ever heard – the fandom thrives on the characters they know and love; how are they going to have that same relationship with new characters? It really makes no sense.

Buffy is dead and gone. lets face it kuzi ku has boned us royally. if she made a new buffy with new actors it would only fall short. would the movie have the same spark the same passion or chemistry between characters? i wish. with out it the movie would be dead.

and ill say this about twilight the actors had chemistry. it was there, and very entertaining.

vittorio the vampire would be a good choice for another addition, in out obsession.

The movie was campy, but adorable, and the show… /sigh I force my fiancee to watch it with me nearly every night. But the actors from the tv show are a little past their prime to play butt kicking slayers/witches/watchers/zeppos. Not to mention many of them are on to their own projects. SMJ has a baby on the way and a new show in the works, Alyson Hannigan has How I Met Your Mother… If people want to cash in on the vampire craze brought on from /shudders Twilight and Trueblood, they need to do it in way that won’t wig out us die hard fans.

Pick up where the series left off, with the council in shambles and a handful of freshly activated Slayers. Focus on remaking the council, and training the ever growing group of slayers, and finding new watchers to handle them. Pick 3 or so girls to focus the main entity of the show on, with cameos of the original tv cast. This way us die hards won’t run if fear like a freshly risen vamp running from Harmony.

Hmmmmmm. the movie was retarded. the tv series was awsome. i have a idea how about u go with what works or dont do it at all. let me guess u want to make a fucking dragonball movie. mediocore and without depth. i see.

or…. you can get the origanal cast and have a christmas reunion. sweet. either way your perfect for a corman presents. peace.

i am only a kid. i started watching this last year now im hooked. i love it sarah michelle geller is my hero and isperation! i wnt the t.v show to start up again and a new movie with the original cast. wont one of you grown ups talk to the people in charge of it.:( i watch buffy over and over every night off my dvds and its better every time! i really want a nwe movie but only with the original cast! so please someone if your real fans help me put the scooby`s ( a.k.a ) buffy,sander,willow,dawn,angel and everyone else who didnt die in the last episode back together! please help me.:)i cant do it alone.
