There have been plenty of films made about the Manson killings, maybe not after the book but plenty about the man. And just to clarify, Manson is not a serial killer, in fact he’s never killed anyone. He was the mastermind behind the killings but he didn’t go to Sharon Tate’s house.
Posted by swarez on May 25th, 2009No, I love catfights.
Posted by Wintle on May 25th, 2009number 5!
We’d discussed a couple of those older eps before, but the one I had remembered was the Clerks II ep and not so much the Simpsons one, and the Clerks one was the one that had comments discussing it.
More or less I stopped being on the show really because of Skype problems and because 4 was a crowd, and Greg was far and away the better 3rd man. Reed is the exception that also for many proves the rule
s’all good. There’s no bad blood, but I keep off bigger arguments on the site more or less these days, and every time I try to get back writing, because I do so much freelance and contract work, it gets in the way and I don’t see as much in the theater. Like the Class review though, if/when I see things that Sean and Jay or Wintle or whoever can’t get to, I’d write something.
Posted by Goon on May 25th, 2009Who does that version of “Jimmy” at the end of the show?
Posted by Goon on May 25th, 2009Of Montreal.
I have to admit, Skype is kind of a pain and I like the fact that we don’t have to do the show over Skype when the majority of other podcasts seem to be recorded that way. But obviously you’re welcome to write stuff any time you feel inspired Goonie.
Posted by Sean on May 25th, 2009I’m halfway done watching Valkyrie, and I feel like I’m going to have to start over from the beginning because I watched it tired and feel like I have no idea whats going on. I may regret it, I don’t know, because so far what I have managed to absorb has been very boring.
Posted by Goon on May 25th, 2009^took it back to where i began to nod off and finished it. i liked it, it was good. Maybe like American Gangster missing that little extra oomph for the next level, but good.
Posted by Goon on May 25th, 2009I’m still waiting on a review of Dance Flick (I’m looking at you, Jay).
Posted by Nuno on May 26th, 2009Jay,
Posted by rob on May 27th, 2009You were right. Roberto Orci does kind of come across as a prick in that Creative Screenwriting podcast.
