Hi Guys, District Nine Sounds like that 80’s film Alien Nation,Just a quick thought. We saw that “Rough Cut” of Wolverine that’s been floating around the net and imho sounds like the Pirate Version is more interesting (from a technical perspective)
Posted by John & Liza Branch on May 5th, 2009Funny you mentioned that scene in Star Trek VI when Kirk and Spock are on the prison planet, I was just thinking how that is the Jabba’s Palace of Trek Movie scenes.
I think a good practical joke would be to do the opposite of the Austin screening of Star Trek for Reed this weekend. Have your buddies at Empire Theaters actually show a print of of Star Trek V or something and see how he would react.

Maybe he wouldn’t notice? That’d be weird.
Posted by Rusty James on May 6th, 2009ProjectGenesis, that’s a great idea! I bet that would surely make international news headlines. Oh, btw, it’s Kirk and McCoy on the prison planet.
And what the h*** are the Film Junk guys doing having a Star Trek discussion when I’m not around. That’s like having a religious discussion and not including God!
Posted by Reed Farrington on May 6th, 2009Not really on topic but…
Who listens to Sea Wolf? That was a fun surprise…
