A post-apocalyptic setting with mutants and rustic technology is a more novel experience in an RPG. We've seen it many times in film...I'll save any interest (or lack thereof) until after a director is attached.

Lets all just sit back, relax, and watch the wonderfully cheesy 2019: After the Fall of New York; because the shitty video game movie curse may never be broken.

Didn't like Fallout 3 all that much, but Fallout 2 were awesome back in the day. A tv-series would be neat, but a movie, I don't know. We already have the new Terminator-franchise for that stuff. (I know there is Sarah Connor Chronicles too, but that isn't all that good.)

You know, this could actually be a really good movie. Who doesn't like the post-apocalyptic genre?

Throw in a little human nature vs. nurture sub-text (light side vs. dark side), a cool looking, unique (lightsaber-esq) handgun for killing bad guys, a loyal dog (Chewbacca) and you got the next Star Wars on your hands....

Or they could just re-make A Boy and his Dog. One of my all time favorites.

A big part of the game was choosing whether to be good, evil, or neutral. It will be interesting to see how they handle that, if at all. I think they should make it a TV series with a “choose your own adventure” type feel. Each week people could vote on what major decision the main character will make. They would have to shoot all the possible outcomes, which would make it pretty hard to do. They could release the unaired options on DVD and make more money.
