Crazy. I guess April is the time to open big since the competition is probably pretty weak. That said looks like that Dreamworks CGI still made beau coup bucks. I guess people are going to the theatres still. Kind of puts a dent in the argument that the net is ruining the industry.

I still remember seeing the First F&F and was left wondering what the fuss was all about? The acting was horrible, the storyline idiotic, and did I mention the acting was horrible? Even the action wasn’t that cool.

I guess people wanted the original cast back…and there are fans of this franchise…but damn 73 million?????? Ya gotta be kidding me!

its because Fast and the Furious is now a fantasy film – no one in the audience can afford to buy the cars they are watching on screen.

Sad. I spent my money on BOTH Adventureland and F&F. It’s no contest which is the better film. Hopefully after word of mouth gets around about how great Adventureland is, it will pick up some steam.

It’s not fair that these numbers will bury Mottola and there will likely be another shitty F&F movie.

I hate people.
