I just finished reading If chins could kill: confessions of a B movie actor and watched the first evil dead again with a whole new perspective and appreciation. I love Army of Darkness and have the "bootleg" directors cut Bruce Campbell vs. the Army of Darkness and like it much better than the theatrical cut of the movie with the funny but happy ending in the s-mart. I wonder if this project happens will he take it the standpoint of caught in the future, or will it take it from the s-mart ending. At any rate, very excited about this slated project. Bruce Campbell is too old and the low-budget stop-motion effects are a great part of the enjoyment. CG Deadites and Old Ash aren't key ingredients to this great trilogy.
