When I think of mockumentaries, the names that usually come to mind are Christopher Guest and Sacha Baron Cohen, and it seems like Pauly Shore is now right alongside them.

‘Adopted’ is a very tongue-In-cheek commentary on the topic of celebrities adopting impoverished children in Africa, and it’s pretty funny! If you’re looking for another comedy to add to your collection, this one is definitely worth checking out.

I don’t know why everyone’s judging so harshly. If you guys watch the movie, you might be surprised at how funny and warm it really is. See it if you get the chance.

Liked it… although Cohen is going for the out there jokes… this one actually seems as Pauly is kind of being serious. No character just him, and he said a few lines and appeared genuwine. Bonding with the kid over Blue Balls, priceless cute and funny.
Of course this is straight to DVD, right?

I guess I’m the only one, but this looks entertaining to me. It looks to me like he is making fun of Western do-gooders/celebrities. It sounds like something South Park has done several times, but I like the documentary style that this has. I’m probably wrong though.
