Allison, I think the movie you were asking about is Motel Hell. In it, Farmer Vincent abducts people, cuts their vocal chords, plants them in a garden, and feeds them through tubes until they’re ready to be made into Vincent’s famous smoked meat. I can’t believe I couldn’t remember that during the podcast.
Posted by Wintle on March 17th, 2009I don’t know if he appears anywhere else, but Roger Corman is sitting at the wedding ceremony on the far side of the room. You can see him listed in the first row here:

Posted by Ashley on March 17th, 2009Great to hear you on the podcast, Wintle! The Fantastic Four reboot seems stupid to me, the only thing I didn’t like about about those movies was that they didn’t get a slightly bigger budget for a bit more oomph. And as for Jay & Greg reacting so differently to that scene in The Last House on the Left – isn’t that a case of “déformation professionnelle” (with Jay being a filmmaker)?
Posted by Bas on March 17th, 2009Wintle, stop being negative about “The Expendables” already. Just because Sly has had two succesfull films in a row it doesn’t mean the next one will suck. What is it with the internet and peoples lust for building stars up only to tear them apart. Shame on you!
Posted by Kasper F. Nielsen on March 17th, 2009Hockey Hair ? Never heard of it.
Posted by Paul Andrews on March 17th, 2009I don’t think i’ll be watching Glen or Glenda or either of the LHOTL’s with my dad soon, maybe Watchmen, but not those.
Posted by Drew on March 17th, 2009Wintle was great on the podcast by the way!
Posted by Drew on March 17th, 2009Thank you, Bas and Drew, though I think I was out of my element. Sean, Jay and Greg have got it going on!
Kasper, I’ve stated on both the site and the podcast that I enjoyed both Rocky Balboa and Rambo and that based on those films I hope that Stallone can pull off The Expendables. My concern isn’t based on malice, but on my genuine reaction to what seems like the type of stunt casting that can ruin a movie. I’m hoping that Sly will prove me wrong.
Posted by Wintle on March 17th, 2009I put Howard the Duck in my queue on hulu and then never watched it. Maybe I’ll have to give it a look.
Posted by chris on March 17th, 2009Motel Hell is the movie the emailer was thinking of. They grow people to make them into jerkey. Sort of like Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2. Oh and John Ratzenberger is in it as a pot smoking hippie.
