I think they could do it when his daughter is grown up and a popstar, he recommends some of his old friends to be her ‘preventers’ but she gets kidnapped anyway… he tracks them all down, rescues her and finds out that it was one of his friends who helped kidnap her for lots of money!! Needless to say, he f’s him up

I think the sequel to this excellent sequel should involve more of Holly Valance in hot pants.

Perhaps it could be Liam Neeson working as her full time body guard. And we just see her safe and sound showering in the dressing room for the whole film.

That would rule.

The sequel should be 3 years later, his daughter is a pop star and Brian goes back to the CIA because his daughter is now grown up. He and a team go back to France to exterminate that whole group of Albanians.

Maybe the sequel will show what happened from the daughter’s point-of-view from when she was taken to when she was rescued by her dad

They should not do a sequel! However they should do a prequal. Go over his life in the CIA.

Well what if this time they did it as if the bad guys came after him? I mean he pistol whipped his old friend who had ties to the organization theres more than just one big bad guy not to mention that guy named “Mr.Nervous.” Just do a spin of the bad guys coming after him?

I loved this movie, I really found myself rooting for Bryan Mills, and think a sequal would be interesting if done well.

I really think that this could be done with the same story. I mean, he killed some royal Arab guy, a bunch of Albanians, and really put a crimp in the business of sex slavery in Paris. He’s made some enemies, and they may be gunning for revenge.

i would love to see a sequel to taken, as long as its done correctly. they can basicaly do the sequel 3 different ways they can do a new story with a new character, it didnt work for the butterfly effect 2 so it probably wont for this. They can have the same characters and have the daughter get kidnapped again, basicaly escape from l.a. which kinda sucked. or they can have a whole new adventure with the same character, which is what i would like to see done with it like the french government coming after brian for what he did.

I would love to see a Taken 2. I hope that they portray just as detailed perspective of another character. They depicted Mills’ perspective well, didn’t they? But I doubt that the new story will have anything to do with Kim’s abduction. That would be a writer’s and filmmaker’s suicide, now that most box-office hit films have a sequel. But I guess they may be considering to capitalize on the idea of revenge. Or not. Who knows? I just want to see the sequel.

I really liked Taken. The best thing about it was the fact that it took its time to develop the Liam Neeson character. I really liked him so I cared about his plight. This could be the Paul Kersey of this generation. Im glad to see an actor in his 50’s do this type of thing again. I pefer Taken over the Jason Bourne films any day of the week.
