Jim Jarmusch’s The Limits of Control Trailer
It’s hard to believe that four years have passed since Jim Jamursch’s last film, Broken Flowers, but fortunately we will only have to wait a few more months before we can set eyes on his new project The Limits of Control. Broken Flowers has been by far his most successful film to date, thanks in large part to its star Bill Murray, and for The Limits of Control, Jarmusch has reteamed with him once again. However, Murray appears to have a somewhat smaller role this time around, with the bulk of the film centered around Isaach De Bankolé (Casino Royale, 24) who plays a lone wolf criminal undertaking a job in Spain.
The trailer is stylish but vague, as we have come to expect from Jarmusch. With a supporting cast that also includes Tilda Swinton, John Hurt and Gael GarcÃa Bernal, it is most certainly on my must-see list for 2009. I am curious to see just how many screens it will be playing on, and whether or not it will be an even bigger hit for Jarmusch and Focus Features. At any rate, it should provide a nice alternative to the summer blockbusters when it opens in select theatres on May 22nd. Check out the trailer below or watch it in HD over at Apple.com.

Looks badass. And its not every day you can say that about a Jim Jarmusch movie.
Posted by Theman on March 5th, 2009i think jim jarmusch movies usually at least LOOK badass, whether or not they end up being badass is another deal altogether. this one does look badass though. i like that actor dude from casino royale, glad to see him in a lead role. i’m stoked.
