Watchmen Condoms: Best/Worst Marketing Item Ever
The picture above kind of speaks for itself, but just in case you were wondering, this is apparently an actual marketing item that was produced to promote the upcoming movie Watchmen. Yep, Watchmen condoms emblazoned with the phrase, “We’re society’s only protection.” They’re even tinted Dr. Manhattan blue. Boy, Warner Brothers sure are pulling out all the stops on this one! Too bad they overlooked one key detail: comic book nerds don’t have sex. WatchmenComicMovie.com reports that the condoms were being handed out over the Valentine’s Day weekend in Columbus, Ohio. Hopefully it’s only a matter of time before they crop up for sale on Ebay!

Considering what actually happens in the comic, this is actually a pretty witty way to market the film.
