what i dont understand is at the end of the last movie she didnt really escape, she was jus sitting there watchin a flame torch thing, and when the camrea backs away she is no where neer an exit, she is jus in hole in the wall type thing, i just dont undestand how she got out of there ????

Saw movie last night. thought it was generally good but i have one big question that niggles me (MAJOR SPOILER) why did old guy knock the last girl alive out and leave her for the creepers? if he was trying to keep their existence secret, it would have been a lot easier to do that to Sarah when she banged on his car at the beginning of the film! Also, a bit of a coincidence that old guy was at the right mine exit at the same time the alst girl escaped?

I saw the movie today! I think its actually very very good! Of course cant have the same atmosphere of the first one (you already know about the creatures!) but they somehow made it again in creating some very scary moments, a lot of action and some introspections in characters. If you loved the first one you should definetely watch this one too!

Movie sounds good. They need to have a Descent 3 next. I can see the plot have something to do with how they became that way in the first place or have them coming out of the caves and beging to attack humans in the outside world.

Just to point out it is Beth in the car at the end not Juno.
I think the sequel looks quite good, and even if it’s not does it really matter, its not like you can’t still watch and enjoy the first one and ignore the sequel.

I actually saw this movie at a screening and it was effin awesome!!! I consider myself to be a horror movie buff. I considered the first one to be a true horror classic. Part 2 is not too far behind. It prety much follows the premise of the first one however, the movie is full of surprises (and jumps). It was a totally fun movie to watch and I can’t wait until it is released in the theatres. One small spoiler…. i believe that there will definitely be a part 3… and I can’t wait for that mf.
