This Week on DVD: Choke, Changeling, Religulous

There are a lot of middle-of-the-road DVD releases this week along with some crap, but if you wade through the complete list of titles, odds are you’ll find something that you’re interested in. Ridley Scott’s Body of Lies is out today, along with Clint Eastwood’s Changeling, REC remake Quarantine, and the Simon Pegg comedy How to Lose Friends and Alienate People. Movies that a lot of people didn’t get a chance to see in theatres include Clark Gregg’s adaptation of Chuck Palahniuk’s Choke, the controversial Dakota Fanning movie Hounddog, and Ryûhei Kitamura’s The Midnight Meat Train. Dead Like Me fans will be excited about the direct-to-DVD movie Life After Death, and also going head to head this week are the DVD release of Bill Maher’s Religulous and the Blu-ray release of Mel Gibson’s The Passion of the Christ. Heck, why not just buy both and cover all your bases!

  1. So, what is the difference between the Canadian DVD releases of [REC] and Quarantine?

  2. I’m assuming the main difference is that they have different movies on them? :)
