Quentin Tarantino’s Inglourious Basterds Teaser Footage
The first trailer for Quentin Tarantino’s highly-anticipated WWII drama Inglourious Basterds will be premiering on E.T. tonight at 6 pm EST. In the meantime, you can check out this short teaser that premiered last night. It doesn’t really feature anyone except for Brad Pitt, but to E.T. there probably aren’t any other actors in the film anyway. Watch the same footage in HD via this YouTube link, and look for the full trailer to hit the web sometime later tonight.

I guess I should probably reserve judgment as this doesn’t show much, but Pitt looks terrible in this. But like I said, it’s QT so I need more context to size it up.
Posted by Andrew James on February 10th, 2009Brad Pitt sucks, hard. He’s the most over-rated actor going. He runs the risk of ruining this movie.
Posted by Jon Rocks on February 10th, 2009Seems to be a famous german Actor in it, Til Schweiger.

Posted by TheDutch on February 10th, 2009Yubb, can’t say I’m overly blown away with Pitt’s performance in this teaser, especially that last line. But I’ll reserve judgment until I see the whole trailer and the flick of course.
Posted by swarez on February 10th, 2009Yeah, looks like Pitt is doing “wacky” again.
I have faith in QT and he’s never let me down, so I’ve got to see this.
Posted by Paul on February 10th, 2009I read a 3rd of the script on line and knew about the southern character Pitt is to play, but yeesh! Did he spend any time at all developing his character and accent? I’ve heard a better southern accent at Chicago charity’s fake hoedown!
Posted by rus in chicago on February 10th, 2009I thought it looked interesting, although I still have my reservations with the likes of Eli Roth being attached.
