Monday Morning Box Office Report: He’s Just Not That Into Who?

The star-studded rom-com He’s Just Not That Into You took the box office by storm over the weekend, although the $27 million gross is a lot lower than I expected based on the jam-packed theatres that I witnessed. Taken remained in the number 2 spot with $20 mil, while Coraline opened at #3 with just over $16 million. The Pink Panther 2 managed a $12 million debut, and Push was just out of the Top 5, thanks to our good friend Paul Blart: Mall Cop. Slumdog Millionaire continues to be one of the few Oscar nominees actually making money at the moment, dropping down to #7.

1. He’s Just Not That Into You — $27.5M
2. Taken — $20.3M

  1. Thank God for those 12 mills for Pink Panther. Now hopefully there won’t be any more.

  2. I saw Push this weekend. It sucked, so don’t bother to see it.
