  1. Hey Sean I remember After the Shock–the moment where paramedics have no choice but to cut a kid’s leg off w/o anesthesia really stayed with me! I can’t remember anything else about the movie but its remarkable that I remember anything seeing how it aired 18 yrs ago…maybe that’s a sign it’d still be good now.

Also you should know that this episode wouldn’t update to my iTunes and its not in the store either.

  2. While watching the video for a second I thought Jay grew a gigantic beard, but it was just the mic.

  3. Thanks for reading my mail! Nowadays I don’t catch movies on TV, but the BBC used to air some pretty good stuff at, like, 3 in the morning. I would catch them after going out for a drink, which reminds me: Jay, you have to watch The Party when you are either intoxicated or high on something! :)

  4. Did Cantankerous work out? Pleaseeeee tell me its gonna be posted.

  5. I remember Kevin Smith talking about that Jaws documentary and how awesome it is. How did you get a hold of it? Where can I find it?

  6. When you guys were talking about that movie “Chocolate” I was sure someone, anyone (I’m looking at you, Greg) was going to ask if it was the sequel to “Milk.” You get it– “Chocolate”…”Milk”… Seemed like such an easy Greg joke. What the hell!

  7. Andrew: They sent us a screener. It says it is the “2009 Festival Cut” of the movie, so I assume they’ll be entering it in some festivals this year.

  8. Donut Holes are really made from the leftover Doughnut parts!

Speaking of Tim Hortons, the last time I was in Canada, I stopped at one to get a coffee and told the cashier I wanted it “light and sweet” and she acted as if she’s never heard this term before, and I had to explain to her what Light and Sweet was. Is “Light and Sweet” not an acceptable way to take your coffee in Canada??

I had another Canada related question for your show too. Are there any “Best kept Canadian secrets” as far as TV and Film go? We know about all of the mega-popular stuff (SCTV, Degrassi, Trailer Park Boys and….umm…I guess that’s it), but outside of the amazing mockumentary FUBAR, I don’t know of any Canada-centric TV shows or movies that we Americans may be missing out on.

Anyway, GREAT podcast! I’ve been listening for a few episodes now and enjoy it immensely!

    Mike,
