Crank 2: High Voltage Trailer Starring Jason Statham

A trailer for Crank 2: High Voltage leaked online a couple of weeks ago and was promptly pulled by Lionsgate. Word on the street was that it looked like crap, but I don’t know because I didn’t watch it. Well now the official trailer has gone online and hey, guess what… it still looks like crap!

I will admit that the concept of a main character who is forced to keep his heart rate up is kind of interesting (this time around he has to keep giving his body electrical jump starts), but the style of this trailer is so completely ADD that a 90 minute movie just seems like a painful proposition. (No, I still haven’t seen the original.) If it didn’t have Jason Statham in it, I might think this was something being put out by The Asylum. Crank 2 hits theatres on April 17th; check out the trailer below and tell me I’m wrong!

  1. holy shit its just pure ridiculousness…i hope they just keep making Cranks…Crank 10: Lightning Strikes – they replace chev’s brain with a superconducting metal computer which is powered by storms, so he has to basically chase tornados and lightning in order to survive

  2. Now that’s more like it. The trailer that leaked a few weeks ago looked like shit, most likely a sales trailer as it was not color corrected or had any sound design. Plus it had tits galore. This however looks awesome.

  3. I can see why Sean might not be interested in these Crank movies. Their premises are just ridiculous!!! So ridiculous, that it makes me curious to see just how over the top they plan go with this, dare I say it, franchise. I mean, let’s face it, these movies know their audience.
