I wasn’t going to say anything because I really don’t have anything to say about Ricardo Montalban. But since this post is one of the “Most Popular Posts” for some reason, I feel obligated to say something. I’ll use an earlier quote from DeForest Kelley, who played Dr. McCoy and who passed away in 1999: “I enjoyed working with Ricardo Montalban best, because Ricardo was part of motion pictures. I was at Paramount … Ricardo was at MGM, and we had a chance to exchange a lot of lunches together, and I was privileged; he is a marvelous actor.”
You don’t have anything to say about Ricardo Montalban? Is this one of your “I’m a Trekker, but I’ll choose Wars over Trek” moments? Or more like a “Jay is draining the lizard and I will sit in silence” moment?

Awesome pic. I watched lots of Fantasy Island over at my grandparents house back in the day. I could only wish I could roll with Tattoo in my gang.

Posted by Bas on January 20th, 2009Bas, it’s more like a “I don’t know anything about this, and it might be rude to make a silly remark, so I’ll keep quiet” moment.
