this movie is going to be no doubt one hundred percent bullshit. there is no way something this affected and hollywood could even pretend to reach the original. it’s so dead serious and stupid.

I literally can’t stop watching this trailer, I guess I just like the idea, and like I said before, I really dig the music used in this. I haven’t seen the original (although I plan too), but I’ve heard the things said about it and I think it’s a perfect remake opportunity. They can make it alot less exploitive (by that I mean no biting off dicks), but still get in alot of kills and thrills and maybe even pack a good emotional punch. And actually watching the trailer for Hardcore, I think this director can do it. But then again I guess if I want something REALLY serious out of this subject matter I can just watch the original ingmar bergman max von sydow film.

I’m with Drew on this one, This looks awesome. I’ve seen the original aswel and i would have to say seeing that Wes Craven is a producer on this is what i wanna see with remakes. As for the sweet child of mine thing i think it suits it, also does anyone remember how awesome thee hills have eyes 2 trailer was (the actual film is another story). I hope we get some trailer trash discussion about this. Also ‘REED’, just wanted to write this so he sees it when he is scouring the comments and goes ‘whats this discussion about me!

I’m sorry, but I think this looks awesome. And I really don’t understand what you mean when you say the sweet child o’ mine cover didn’t sit well with you, I thought the use of it was amazing.

Good loooooooord. I saw the original when I was a teenager and found it pretty disturbing, but this just looks silly to me. “Sweet Child O’ Mine”… seriously? Plus, the girl survives in this one? Gyah, when is this gonna stop?
