One of my great guilty pleasures. Just recently bought it and I feel that it still holds up today. The final act where everything has gone to hell is spectacular.

I agree that this one would be ripe for a special edition with Hopper involved.

Time has been incredibly unkind to this film. Really the only thing that still looks good is Mathilda May. Though Patrick Stewart delivers the greatest line of his career in this movie

“He’s been naughty.”
