Mark Walberg was no way as good as Charlton Heaston and the end of the Movie ruined it but it did have its good Moments.Lets hope Rise of the Apes is closer to the Original Movies.

Tim Burtons Planet of the Apes wasn’t too bad until the end, not great but somewhat entertaining. When I first watched that ending, it ruined the whole movie. The ending made no sense in the context of the movie. It’s like he took an idea for an ending, trying to match the original apes ending, with no thought as to it fitting into the movie and making sense. If the idea was to let the movie goer make there own interpretation,(and there are many out there) it failed on that level too. Has to be one of the worst, if not the worst endings of any movie I’ve ever watched. Absolutely unforgiveable! I could go on and on but I think I’ve made my point.

I did not think the TB version was awful, but no one can beat CH in his role. I would love to see a Conquest remake!

I would love someone pull off a better one than TB, I was soo disapointed with that flick.

Since the post before this Ricardo has passed on. I would think it would better if they redid Escape from the Planet of the Apes.

Lets hope they entertain this time.

Conquest is without a doubt the best of all the sequels. Maybe they can get Ricardo Montalban to reprise his role.

tim burton died to me after his POTA…and he died a second death after CATCF.

And dont go giving me that BIG FISH bullshit, yes it’s a good movie, but its not great…it’s mearly the illtalented demon, who possessed him right before production of POTA, inside Burton’s corpse trying its best.
