‘Colore Non Vedenti’ Teaser Trailer! (Sort of)

As some of you may already know, the folks here at Film Junk have been working on a short horror film over the last couple of months. (News to you? Check out the official production blog: http://colorenonvedenti.blogspot.com/) After taking a couple of weekends off from shooting, we’ve started to get back into the swing of things thanks to some confirmations on some locations required for the climax of ‘Colore Non Vedenti’. Roman was lucky enough to secure a night club and some access tunnels (underneath our local shopping mall) for the finale and it should be a lot of fun to shoot. Until then, I’ve decided that seeing as Halloween is upon us this week, it might be cool to put together a ‘teaser’ trailer of sorts, which is basically just a collage of some of the stuff we’ve shot so far. We’re still missing about 1/3 of the film, including any footage of one of the main characters. So take this as it is, simply a look at some of the stuff we’ve been doing. So…enjoy!

  1. Hmmm The Stuff meets the Signal? And I just love the way you Canadans say house.

  2. Going to inflate that ego Greg talks about so much: looking good. I probably wouldn’t feel like anything’s missing even if I hadn’t know some of the climatic shots weren’t included.

    The cinematography: A prosumer accomplishment.

  3. Wow it looks fantastic! How are you guys distributing this?

  4. Thanks for the comments!

At this point, the film is just going to be entered into festivals and probably put up on the net for free.

  5. Looks awesome. You should definitely sell DVD’s, even if it’s just for us Film Junkies. I’ll toss some $$ your way for a copy.

And man– Baychuck has a great character-actor look. Keep him in your stable of actors, for sure.

  6. I’d only buy a BD Jay. You’d have to do commentary too.

Wondering what festivals you’re looking at….

  7. This id looking great. I love your lead, the guy with the red hair. What’s his name?

  8. Looking great!

  9. Thanks Jon! Its all I’d ever want to be. Look at Steve Buscemi….he rocks!

  10. This is looking really good…Jay is ready to release his full cinematic vision on the world after years of laboring in the dim light of his video cave. Be afraid, be very afraid…

What camera did you shoot on, did you fill up memory sticks and download straight to your hard drive like all the kids are doing?

    Rus

  11. Hey Rus,

We’re shooting on the HVX200, which does run on P2 memory cards. High density film making!

  12. I will require a high destiny disc myself. Never picked up a high density player.

  13. I just saw the new footage you put on Vimeo and its amazing. I don’t know if this happens to anybody else but when i see an awesome shot i get goosebumps, and there were a shitload of awesome shots in that footage that I couldn’t believe were coming from an ametuer filmmaker. I can’t wait to see the finished product jay.

  14. Why did you remove it?

  15. Its because you liked it too much, Drew. ;)
