i dont think it will be a remake to me i honestly dont think you could beat the original version of any friday 13th film it could be though and if it is i hope it is a remake of jason goes to hell i thought that movie could use improvment

I’ve only watched one Jason film all the way through, and it was Jason X. I thought the script was witty. I loved it.

For all you Treknobabblers out there who weren’t aware, Kira from DS9 is playing Jason’s mom in this new film.

Technically it’s a reboot of the franchise, rather than a remake of any specific film.

Sooooo is this technically a remake? If so what film?
Cause as you mentioned, and we all know, Jason wasn’t the killer in the original Friday the 13th. Also, he didn’t wear a hockey mask in the 2nd film.

If anything, it’s a remake of the third film. I guess.

Jason Vorhees rocks! For all the other 10 movies in the collection not one was bad. However, some were better than others. Look at Jason X….that seems like it should be have been crap, but turned out better than I thought it would.
