I recently found veedemus to be a cool site to build a dvd-collection. It's really easy to use and has some cool features that even Movie Collector Plus is lacking.

Don’t know how to solve your game and divx problem. But, Movie Collector Plus is the best for dvds. And you can create a social network and link collections. It’s the sweetest out there right now… It’s really fast and easy. You can catalog all of your movies and all the extras.

If you have a DVDSpot export file, you can just import it to http://www.DVDCorral.com. You can search and sort and you get a link to your collection which has a smooth JavaScript interface.

The site is still rapidly adding features and if there’s anything you’d like to see, please let us know. If it doesn’t measure up to your DVDSpot expectations, just let us know what you’d like to see

Hey there Toni 75… I still haven’t found a program I’m happy with so I’m afraid I don’t have any recommendations for you. I just decided to use an Access database in the meantime.

Hi,

I have my whole game-, divx- and dvd- collection listed on MediaMan, it used to be my favourite, but now it has closed, because I don’t wanna pay 40 $ for it. There are all these free ones available.

The problem is, that my list contains over 1000 titles… I don’t want to make it all over again. Does any of these free softwares support MediaMan-files, like Libra? Libra looks nice, just like MM.

I've been out of the collecting scene for a few months and last night I tried updating my DVDSpot account!! Yikes! I went on a hunt to find a new site. I tried a few of your suggestions. Glad there are some options. I ended up adding all of my movies on Movie Collector Plus. It has good features, is free and I found it has the fastest method of adding your movies.

The draw back with programs like DVDpedia or Libra or Delicious Library 2 is that none of them are online sites. I’m looking for a place like LibraryThing that’s for DVD’s instead of literature.

DVD Aficionado is too ugly in the interface department to even be worth considering.

Anyone? Or have people given up hope?
