I wish I was in one of the lucky places getting Ashes of Time Redux! With that not as an option I think I’m most likely to see City of Ember, the art direction looks great and I can’t decide from the trailer if the adult actors performance are good or ridiculous!
I wish I would be hyped for Body of Lies, being a huge Ridley Scott and Russell Crowe fan but the trailer wasn’t that compelling.
Posted by Shannon the Movie Moxie on October 10th, 2008I definitely agree that Body of Lies doesn’t look all that exciting but I’ve gotta give Ridley Scott, Leonardo DiCaprio and Russell Crowe the benefit of the doubt.
Posted by Sean on October 10th, 2008Well, I’ll be curious to hear what you think of it! I’ll admit it looks more intriguing than A Good Year and American Gangster.
Posted by Shannon the Movie Moxie on October 10th, 2008Yeah, A Good Year looked so dull, I still haven’t seen that. I really liked American Gangster though.
Posted by Sean on October 10th, 2008I went and saw Quarantine…good thing i got in for free. Good thing i had a drink prior to the midnight event. Good thing me and my friend have connections at River Cinema. Good thing that the entire audience was swimming with me. Good thing that i had an hilarious, obnoxious funny man sitting to my right. fuck i am rambling…it was shit!

Posted by cronenfly on October 10th, 2008Quarantine was a steaming pile of embarrassment…
Body of lies was entertaining but ultimately I couldn’t help but think it was a bit pointless. It was certainly visually stunning but I still feel ambivalent towards it.
Appaloosa was the real winner in my pay for 1 stay for 3 weekend. It definitely is worth checking out
