I kind of enjoyed the fact that Depp wasn’t being directed by Burton in these films, although Ed Wood is one of my favorite movies of all time I don’t think Burton should get involved with the franchise. Let Johnny have his alone time Tim (you stalker).

Well if you’re going to take Planet of the Apes as the best example of his work, of course you’d think he’ll screw it up!

I think Burton’s style would work for this franchise, but the problem is that it would probably feel quite a bit different from the first three.

No, not kidding. Look at “Planet of the Apes” – That guy has potential to destroy anything.
I HATED the first and third movie. The second pirates was ok.
