I can’t help but drool over the potential of the blu-ray release!!! This will win best cinematography at the academy awards.

That’s sort of how I feel. I think he can be self-indulgent at times (See: over-use of CG in “Panic Room”.)

And it doesn’t help that I think Brad Pitt is an abysmal actor.

I’ve seen this and the other trailer several times now, and I have to say– I just don;t get it. I have no interest in this one.

I trust Fincher (and pray to the Movie Gods that the new Heavy Metal gets made) so I’ll probably be there. Brad Pitt’s southern accent is a bit unconvincing he didn’t really say alot so who knows.

I agree that the cinematography was luscious. I’m glad Fincher went digital again.
