Movie budget was $45 mil. Someone is gonna loose their shirt over that one. Rodanthe didn't look good to me by the trailers; I suppose it appeals to older women who want some eye candy with Gere. I saw Fireproof with the wife and was surprisingly pleased at the mix of drama, comedy, and action. Fireproof takes up the subject of divorce in a serious way, so I don't think teens or young adult singles will enjoy it that much, but you'd probably like it if married and in your mid-20's or older. What is more amazing is when you consider Fireproof showed on only 839 screens compared to the 2,300-3,500 screens the other top 8 films were playing on.
