Sasha Baron Cohen Infiltrates Milan Fashion Show as Bruno

It’s been a while since we’ve heard anything from Sacha Baron Cohen, but it appears there has been another sighting this week as the funny man continues to shoot guerilla-style footage under the guise of his Austrian alter-ego Bruno. He recently caused chaos at a fashion show in Milan, Italy, when he managed to sneak his way onto the catwalk wearing a pretty hilarious outfit (no, it’s not a unitard). Unfortunately, as soon as he got out there, all hell broke loose as security guards tackled him and escorted him outside.

You can check out video footage of the whole fiasco below. It’s funny, but I doubt they’ll be able to make use of it for the movie. I wonder how many of his other pranks have been aborted due to the fact that he is now a pretty recognizable face? I can’t wait to see what else he has dreamed up for the flick. Alas, we still have a bit of a wait ahead of us… Bruno hits theatres on May 15, 2009. (Thanks to Chian for the heads up.)

  1. the pictures of Cohen crashing the fashion show in Milan hardly look like him… from the aftermath, it looks like it was an effective marketing ploy though

  2. I’m pumped for some Bruno.

  3. Hahahahahaha! I’ve been to a few stuffy runway shows at Toronto’s Fashion Week. Anything or anyone that can liven them up earns big points in my book. Way to go Sasha, now I can’t wait to see Bruno!

  4. Ha! Cohen is one of the best comedians ever.

  5. these nternet videos are going to ruin the movie, there’s going to be no suprise left
