New To Theatres This Weekend: Eagle Eye, Miracle at St. Anna, Choke

New movies opening in theatres this weekend include the Shia LaBeouf thriller Eagle Eye, Spike Lee’s Miracle at St. Anna, and the Richard Gere/Diane Lane romance Nights in Rodanthe. In select theatres we have Chuck Palahniuk’s Choke starring Sam Rockwell, Neil Burger’s The Lucky Ones, and what’s this… Sean Astin’s starring in another sports drama? I guess Forever Strong is about as close as we’ll get to a Rudy sequel. What are you checking out this weekend?

  1. I’ll be watching Blade Runner for the first time (on bluray). Eagle Eye looks alright, but I’m sick of summer action movies right now.

  2. We finally got “The Duchess” in Minneapolis as well. Looking forward to checking that out along with with “Choke” and “Anna.” Whew! Busy weekend.

  3. Nice to see my friend’s film Queen Raquela up there.
