Bruce Willis to Direct Three Stories About Joan

We’ve seen plenty of actors try their hand at directing (particularly once they start to get a little older), but for some reason Bruce Willis is one guy I never thought I would see behind the camera. He already gave writing a shot back in 1991, when he co-penned the story for the Hudson Hawk remake, and I don’t think it’s a coincidence that he hasn’t attempted it again. However, it looks like he is in the process of lining up his directorial debut, a movie called Three Stories About Joan.

According to the Shreveport Times, the movie will start shooting next month, and it will star Owen Wilson, Kieran Culkin and Bruno himself. Not much is known about the plot, but the flick is being described as a psychological thriller — not necessarily a genre that is easy to pull off. What do you think, does Bruce Willis have the potential to make a great director? Or would you rather just see him stick to acting?

  1. Hudson Hawk was a remake?

  2. I guess not? For some reason I thought it was. Never had the motivation to actually watch it.

  3. As long as he doesn’t do the soundtrack, I’m down.
