Film Junk Weekend Wrap-Up: Aug. 24, 2008

There was plenty of fanboy anger out there on the web this week, primarily directed at Fox not only for their lawsuit against Warner Brothers and the Watchmen movie, but also the possible cancellation of the upcoming Dragonball movie and the rumours of interference with Gavin Hood’s vision for X-Men Origins: Wolverine. In other news, Mike Judge has another movie in production, and the Superman franchise will be getting a reboot in the vein of The Punisher and Hulk.
Speaking of reboots, both the Poltergeist and Child’s Play series are getting the same treatment, meanwhile the late Chris Farley’s tepid comedy Beverly Hills Ninja is actually getting a sequel?! Bring it on baby, bring it on.
