I think they should just give all the athletes guns and let 'em at it. (Kidding!) I don't even care for sports movies. I'd rather watch a musical than a sports movie. Regarding Tropic Thunder, I think it would be remiss of me for the sake of the Treknobabblers not to mention that Ben Stiller is a huge Trekkie. I hear that a character in Tropic Thunder watches the Kirk / Gorn fight on his video iPod for fighting tips. Also according to Neil's comments on a post at trekmovie.com: - Matthew McConaughey’s character has a set of pointed ears on his desk. - Robert Downey Jr. plays a character named “Kirk Lazarus”. Feels like half these medals are from swimming though. The amount of HD coverage of the games is pretty awesome. Any posters/filmjunk crew watching enjoying the Olympics this year?
