I can't really see anybody in the role of Conan, except for Arnold. If they could somehow do the new Conan digitally like Beowulf, except not make the faces move like blocks of rubber, it might be decent. If they are going with a live action movie they should pick an actor who is grotesquely muscular, somewhat foreign sounding, and completly oblivious to his own arrogance, like Arnold. But there is nobody like that, and so whoever they cast it will end up being a distraction. By the way, has anyone ever heard of Corgoth of Barbaria? It was an Adult Swim cartoon take off of Conan the Barbarian. Much like the Venture Bros. is a take off of Johnny Quest. It was really funny but only the pilot was made. Look it up on youtube. That "lamentations of their women" line is classic now right? A great actor would be nice...Clive Owen would be good but Arnold set the bulking up precedent.
