Also, will the Venom solo film feature the character as a good guy or a bad guy? There have been some comic book story-lines and series about Venom as a hero of sorts and that never sat right with me. He's an evil alien creature attached to an unsuspecting guy with a grudge on Spiderman. Sounds like a bad guy to me. Would it be possible to do a comic book movie with a villain as the main character though? Sure, Joker was a huge part of The Dark Knight, but in the end the audience is still meant to be rooting for Batman, correct? Didn’t most people dislike Venom in Spiderman 3 though?
