Josh Brolin did a convincing Dubya, though he reminded me a lot of his cowboy character from No Country for Old Men… over all, i don’t doubt that ‘W.’ will have the effect Oliver Stone desired

The only bad thing about doing a biopic before W
leaves office is that he may oversee an even bigger
disaster before leaving…..I guess that can be
a sequel.

I don’t think this looks all that good. It will be hard to overcome the ridiculousness of it all– I mean, the near-fisticuffs between GHW and GW is pretty damn hilarious. I wonder how seriously Stone has treated all of this.

I think he would have benefited from waiting a few years to do this one. It’s just way too surreal to have this come out while the guy is still in office. Not to mention, Stone’s track record over the past few years is a bit sketchy to say the least.
