Film Junk Weekend Wrap-Up: July 27, 2008

It’s been a pretty busy week across the blogosphere, with almost every geek in the world gathered down in San Diego for the annual Comic Con (which now seems to be more about movies than comics). Fortunately, we’re one of the few sites able to recap all the big announcements from the comfort of our own home, instead fighting our way through a massive sea of nerds! Among the big announcements over the last couple of days were the directors for the upcoming Robocop remake/sequel and the God of War movie, plus confirmation of Tron 2! Elsewhere, Ebert and Roeper have finally decided to part ways, and Christian Bale received some unfortunate negative press after being arrested for assault in London. Did anything else exciting happen this week in film?
