I LOVE ElfQuest. Been a fan for over fifteen years now, and I’ve been hearing about this movie-to-be-made for nearly as long. Frankly, when the movie actually hits the theaters is about the time I’ll start believing they’ll succeed in getting it out there.

But it HAS to be animated. Or at least a mix. Live action with computer animated elves. The technology these days is advanced enough to pull it off.

You CANNOT turn humans into the elves. They’re too IN-human for such a thing to effectively work. The movie would become a travesty just by that alone.

wow really? my mom passed on these elfquest comics to me. They are the original comics from when it first came out. I looked up some dealers and apparently there worth over 20,000 dollars so i guess those three fans must be rich as hell

I cannot wait for this movie to come out. I may be dissapointed on how hollywood will portray the story of Elfquest , but I am sure they will make this an epic fucking film for sure.

Just because Elfquest isn’t your gig doesn’t mean no one cares. Just means you don’t matter in this instance. I’ve loved Elfquest since I first encountered it in middle school, and I have children in or graduated from high school. A fan doesn’t need to be rabid, nor do they have to have YOUR tastes.

That said, I will believe there will be a movie made when I start seeing the hype trailers for it.

I Guess I am one of the Three, I have loved the stories of the Wolfriders for 20 plus years, and cannot wait for the movie to come out. I am guessinf a movie company would not put up millions if there wasn’t a market for it.

Google “ElfQuest”….you’ll get over a million hits. Guess those three ElfQuest fans in the world have been busy little worker bees, haven’t they?

I always thought the art for ElfQuest was terrible so I’ve only read one issue. This Thurber guy could fuck it up royally and it wouldn’t matter because there are only three ElfQuest fans in the world to get pissed off about it. Seriously, I’ve never heard anyone say anything about ElfQuest in real life or on the internet (until now).
