Just wait until James Cameron rocks our domes with Avatar and Battle Angel. I have faith the new 3-D system he helped create will be less gimmicky than ones we’ve seen before.

Having his name dropped is not enough for me. Are they doing this as some kind of survey popularity poll to see if his name is legit enough for a movie like this?

I’d like to know if Aronofsky really has something to say. Does he have a personal perspective of social satire that fits into a Robocop film? Is this his time to experiment with action now? The fact that this movie is suppose to be in 3-d makes me think that’ll we’ll be seeing a pretty shallow film no matter who directs. I could be wrong though, are there are deep 3-d films out there?

This is about the only thing that will get fans of the original interested. Remember what you guys have said before– the only thing really making Harry Potter decent is the selection of interesting directors. Same goes here. I could care less about the 3D… but Aronofsky definitely has me interested. Who would people prefer? Uwe Boll? Paul W.S. Anderson?
