Well it’s a day late, but we never let you down folks… here is the past week in a nutshell for you. A couple of big rumours went around the web, and although both have been allegedly shot down, there are still some unanswered questions lingering. Eddie Murphy reportedly said in an interview that he was thinking about getting out of movies entirely and going back to stand up comedy, but then the next day he confirmed that he was still on board for Beverly Hills Cop 4… go figure. Also director Robert Rodriguez and his fiancee Rose McGowan were said to have split up, which could have potentially affected the upcoming production of Red Sonja, which they had both just signed on for. The next day sources claimed that the rumour was completely bogus… but is there trouble in paradise? Also, an adaptation of the Dark Horse comic book The Goon was announced with David Fincher as the producer, some new footage from Fritz Lang’s Metropolis was unearthed, and Nike announced plans to release their own version of the Back To The Future McFly kicks. All in all, a busy 4 day week indeed.
