I think Arrested Development has been almost greenlit, I’m still holding out hope for Jack Bauer and 24 to make the big screen

I used to watch Friends when it was new. I don’t know what I saw in it. When I see it on television now I can barely watch a second as it feels so corny, silly, and dated. They should let it stay dead.

The only TV to film adaptation I’d be interested in is The Venture Bros. I don’t remember how the ATHF movie did but The Venture Brothers would crush it because it is definitely a more lauded franchise.

Although I’m a huge fan of the show, I don’t see any interest on my part in seeing a Friends movie. But that being said, I’m sure the millions of other fans would say otherwise.

A Seinfeld movie would be more soothing!

Though I admit Ian’s idea is pretty cool, I still don’t want to see any of these people together on the big screen. Hated them on TV, looking forward to avoiding them on the big screen as well.

If they set it in an Escape from New York style post-apocalyptic setting say 2020 or so then … yes. Central Perk would be the HQ for the rag tag rebel forces fighting the cyborized armies of … well to hear more I’ll need to see a contract of some kind.
