Larry Bishop’s Hell Ride Sneak Preview

There was a lot of buzz earlier in the year about Larry Bishop’s biker flick Hell Ride when it played at Sundance, and understandably so. With Quentin Tarantino acknowledged as the guiding hand behind the project, and a cast that includes Dennis Hopper and Michael Madsen, it’s hard not to be excited about it. Of course, we haven’t heard too much about Hell Ride since then, despite the fact that it is scheduled for release in August, but I recently stumbled across this little AMC sneak preview on YouTube.

It’s a mixture of interviews and clips from the film, and once you get past the typically excitable Tarantino moments, there is some cool stuff here. One thing’s for sure, Dennis Hopper is still a total bad ass. I’m hoping a trailer for Hell Ride will be released soon, but in the meantime I guess we’ll have to just stay tuned to the official website. (Incidentally, the movie’s also got my vote for coolest poster of the year.) Check out the preview embedded below and let us know what you think. Hell Ride hits select theatres on August 8th.

  1. Dennis Hopper + Michael Madsen x Motorcycles = That sounds awesome

Unfortunately this trailer didn’t really live up to that equation for me. I guess we’ll have to wait and see…

  2. What trailer Rian?

By the way is Larry Bishop trying to look like Mickey Rourke on purpose?

  3. I hadn’t heard of this yet and I have to say I’m somewhat interested. I find it amazing how many people in the industry kiss Tarantino’s feet. He whispered in Larry Bishop’s ear like a golden muse and reportedly hours later the guy is typing a screenplay!?
