Stallone and Schwarzenegger: Together On Screen At Last?

Over the years there have been few team-ups that people have wanted to see on the big screen more than Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger. Somehow, the 80’s came and went without this dynamic duo ever starring in a movie together (most likely due to the price tag that would entail), but now it looks like action movie fanatics may finally get their wish a few decades later… sort of.

According to the Times Online, Stallone and Schwarzenegger have both signed on to star in what will be the biggest Bollywood production ever. It’s a movie called Incredible Love, and it’s about an Indian stuntman who lands a job in Hollywood only to find himself lonely and looking for love. Bollywood stars Ashkay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor will headline the film, but it’s unclear exactly how big the parts will be for Stallone and Schwarzenegger. I am guessing this is not exactly what Sly and Arnie’s fans were hoping for, but it does sound like an interesting experiment. Could it be the first big Bollywood film to cross over to American audiences?

  1. Nice.

  2. I have the feeling a lot of people will be disappointed by the final product. They are both getting to be too old for the action stuff, and if they do go for it, it will be a awkward as Ford in Indy 4. They are more likely to be playing themselves in this movie, which means they will not do anything action-y. Where does Arnold find time to be in a movie anyway? Isn’t he still governor?

  3. What? I don’t want my action heroes acting with injians. :(

  4. Bollywood will never see success in America. My friend brought me back DVDs from India and the films were TERRIBLE. Really, Bollywood has to have the corniest filmmakers of any region in the world. Plus, I hate musicals of all varieties.

  5. This movie sounds absolutely ridiculous, but I’ll see it. What can I say? I’m a sucker for Arnie.

  6. Stallones face looks like it’s made by Aardman Claymation. He should be the villain in Chicken Run 2. Arnold could play the hero, now that Mel Gibson isn’t family friendly.
