Film Junk Weekend Wrap-Up: June 22, 2008

This week in film, one of the most prolific special effects masters of our time passed away, Sacha Baron Cohen’s next movie got a release date, and Quentin Tarantino revealed that his next movie would be another two-parter. We also saw new trailers for Death Race and Ong Bak 2, Kevin Smith got into more trouble with the MPAA, and some new projects for J.J. Abrams, Sam Raimi and Spike Lee were announced. A couple more video game movies surfaced, and the CG Astro Boy movie finalized its primary voice cast, which includes Nicolas Cage! How can you go wrong?
