Has anyone seen Rob-B-Hood? It's one of Jackie Chan's more recent films where his age is apparent. It's a mixture of comedy, action and drama.

Anyway, there's a scene on the side of a building with those external air conditioning units attached to each apartment. And to get down, Jackie jumps from one air conditioning unit to another. I think he's like 10 floors off the ground when he starts. (I may be exaggerating.) I would suspect he used a wire harness, but the camera follows him after he reaches the ground as he interacts with vehicles and people, I think. There was probably CGI and clever edits, but it looked really impressive to me.

There are many martial artists more capable of Jackie Chan. And Jackie would be the first to admit that. If you're a true MA film fanatic, you would know. As for wire-fu, Jackie has been using it for sometimes, especially in his later Hollywood movies. It's that Jackie has made more clever use of them, using them in sequences that require it... therefore they appear seamless.

I agree with Rian; I need a new kung fu star that is as capable as Jackie Chan was. Hopefully the kung fu maestro unassisted by wires or CG thing never dies.

I liked Ong-Bak 1, but The Protector was much better and had some of the best kung-fu scenes I have ever seen in a film. Where the hell can I get a copy of Chocolate? As for Ong-Bak 2, I will go see it.

This Ong Bak isn't connected to the previous one in any form other than the name and the main star.
This looks pretty bad ass, beautiful photography.

That being said the first Ong Bak and Tom Yum Gong were to me like porn, fast forwarding through the shitty story to go straight to the good parts. That was especially the case with Tom Yum.

And Henrik, if you actually believe a word of that shit you just typed then you need to get your head examined.

Looks like shit. I definitely don't think this Tony Jaa looks impressively fast in real motion, and I am pretty sure that any idiot can do Kung-Fu in Slowmotion after say a month of training.

I'd rather see The Matrix: Reloaded.

The fights were the only worthwhile parts of the previous Ong Bak, which I'm sure is a surprise to no one. This one looks to be heading in the same direction, and I guess there's nothing wrong with that. I'm still waiting for a martial artist to come along who can fill the void that Jackie Chan has left in my life as he gets older and less capable of delivering awesome stunts and fight scenes.

I'm curious to see how (if at all) this film will be related to the previous Ong Bak. The last one involved the main character fighting guys with jeeps and guns and such. This one looks more like someone shot some adrenaline into Apocalypto and projected it through a sepia-tone screen.
