Hellboy 2 Gets Its Own Pair of Adidas Shoes
How’s this for creative marketing? Universal Pictures, Dark Horse Comics and Adidas have teamed up to create two exclusive pairs of shoes based on the upcoming film Hellboy II: The Golden Army. Hey, it’s no Nike McFly, but if you’re into comics and kicks, you’re probably in heaven right now. One pair was based on the Adidas Forum Mid, while the other is a Stan Smith Mid. (I’ll just pretend to know what those are.)
I have to admit, they’re not nearly as ugly as I thought they would be… but I still don’t think I’d be caught dead wearing them. Then again, they’re only going to be available in limited quantities, so I don’t think anyone will actually risk wearing the damn things. Look for them in Adidas Originals Stores worldwide starting next month. Check out more pics over at Hypebeast.

I’d rock a pair of the Stans. The only problem is coming up with all that cheese (they will probably cost $200+)! But it would be great to be the only kid on my block with a confirmed kick.
