Checking other places, they say that Jumper 2 will be coming out sometime in 2013. Damn. If that is so and everything said about the end of the world as we know it happening on 12/12/12, then we are all going to miss the sequel.

The movie was actually pretty decent. Nothing like the book (just the teleportation concept and the names of some characters), not anywhere near as good as the books, but still really decent for Hollywood. Definitely better than 90% of the movies they put out on its own, with the awesome concept (the jumping) boosting it to one of the best scifi movies of the past few years imo.

As usual, though, the critics are tards. i’d love to see a sequel; even better would be an actual Jumper movie, that resembled the books closer than just having teleportation. Changing the age is fine, but the original story would be much better, with jumping being teachable and the enemy being more realistic shadowy political manipulators like the type who run the real world, rather than genetic jumpers fighting crusaders.

I liked the book, but I think they butchered the movie with all the Paladins, the other teleport, and the whole war between Jumpers and Paladins. They should have kept it simple, and kept it as Davy’s story as a normal guy who can teleport fighting terrorists. Instead it was about the level of a comic book.

i loved this movie.. a bit cheesy but i love the idea of ‘jumping’ everywhere and i love the idea of them getting hunted down and all that. could have explained a bit more but it was great i hope they make a new one! and that dude is HOT

The first movie wasn’t THE best, and the book was marginally better, but the second book and the third are just absolutely fantastic!!

They’re PALADINS by the way…

Reflex and Griffin’s story are definitely both worth a read.

I’m sooo happy they’ll make it a trilogy.

I thought the movie was great! I love the concept. I really would like to see a second installment that digs deeper into the past of both the jumpers and the palicans(I think)
